    Well this was the first webinar I have ever been a part of, and I have to admit, it was extremely informative and hit a few excellent points. The marketing strategies concerning the time frame of hottest sales was fairly accurate, but as for my in-store gift certificate sales, most of those are usually done the last 9 days before Christmas, by 75% more.

    My personal experience in sales from gift certificates, is that for every 5 sold, only 4 are used. Some get lost, or forgotten about… but the point being, you make more money than you work! So really pushing them pays for itself.

    Also, package deals of, say, buy 4 get one half-price, work really well, too, as clients can buy themselves the package and give the gift of health, just one or two massages out of the package, to whomever they want. When you sell the package of many massages in this way, you always give the client individual vouchers for each massage used. The vouchers can be stocking stuffers or placed in their loved one's Christmas card to be turned in to the therapist when redeemed. When massages are sold this way, the clients feel that they get the package for themselves, but the bonus is that they also kicked out their wife and Aunt Judy. Tada!
