Scheduled downtime midnight Friday

Maintenance at SpaBoom's data center is scheduled for midnight, 12:00 a.m. EST on Friday, November 6, 2009 for upgrades to their power systems. Anticipated downtime is 4 hours or less.
SpaBoom will be taking this opportunity to do maintenance to our servers and UPS systems as well.

I was just wondering if this means that my website will also be down for that period of time too?

Unfortunately, yes. The data center has scheduled a maintenance window of 4 hours. The anticipated downtime is an hour and a half, with the possibility for additional periods of downtime during the window. Since they're working on power, it's not advisable to have the servers online during that time. Should they give us the all clear anytime during that window, we'll bring the servers back up.
