A quick fix is sublime to the bottom-line

In her Daily Beast article, Bargain Hunting in Beverly Hills, Sandra McElwaine talks with swanky salon owner Jose Eber about business and surviving in this crazy economy.
I thought his ideas were really good! He talks of the "quick fix," creating inexpensive ways to entice his customers to come into the salon. He has maintained his core service prices but has added a few tiny luxury treatments that are kind his customer’s wallets. His patrons can feel good without spending too much.
Spas can find creative ways to make customers feel sublime if only for 20-30 minutes each visit. A set of short spa treatments that allow customers to feel great and soak in the relaxing environment of your spa for a short time can do a world of good. It provides customers, who feel the confines of a shrinking wallet, with spa treatment options and give spas the opportunity to keep repeat customers.

I think this is a great concept that seems to be getting a lot of attention lately. I do 20-minute Dermalogica "microZone" treatments for $25 each that are targeted to a specific skin concern. It's an affordable way for clients to target their specific skin concerns without spending the time and money on a full facial. I also offer a quick 15-minute lash touch up for $25. Anything we can do to help clients and fulfill their needs during these crazy times.
