I just read through the SpaFinder newsletter. It is filled with great articles about places for you to visit desitination spas, other skin and body care products and an array of treatments. Can you take a moment to help me understand how this may help my business? I get that "spa news" and some articles are written with education in mind but there is a lot of other info inculded that can draw the consumer of your spa off into another direction comletely. I know there is a feature to add your own info. Please share with me your opinion.

Thanks,
D.

Hi Lizabeth,

When the first SpaFinder Lifestyle email campaign is ready to go, we'll post on the blog and send out an email to let you know. You'll then go into Marketing, Email Campaigns to customize it for your clients.

As each new issue of SpaFinder Lifestyle is published, we'll do the same thing.

Thanks!

Thanks, Valentina. The cost is no different than any other email marketing campaign: the email marketing capabilities come at no additional cost to SpaBoomers, and Instant Gift Certificate sales are at 5%.

Always happy to try something new and Spa Finder is my favorite. Please explain cost for GC sale through this feature and how it will work with SpaBoom.

Hi Robert,

If you're not currently using SpaBoom's Email Marketing, you first need to turn that on in Setup, Basics. Then there is an additional option to use the SpaFinder Lifestyle email campaigns.

I really like the option of having content created by a company like SpaFinder but I'm not sure how my clients will feel about it. I am definitely excited to test it though.

I've been going back and forth lately between sending out our salon's email newsletter and in what format I want clients to view them in. For instance, I am working on a "blog newsletter" (I use Aweber). I like the ability to customize the entire newsletter with things that are local and on my mind and directly from my blog. at the same time, Aweber has a lot of statistics to view and control testing (don't care too much for constant contact).

On the flip-side, I like the direction and growth I see with SpaFinder/SpaBoom ezine. with the new SNL ezine it could take a lot of the burden off of sending fresh content to my subscribers. It's a great way to streamline it and take one less thing off my back. But I'm concerned that clients will view it as spam. I've found that I've gotten the most responses when I eliminate graphics altogether and just write. It's personal and I don't want that to be lost.

What have you guys noticed in your email campaigns and which direction are you taking?
