Why wouldn't we just have them buy gift certificates from our own websites? Why is it necessary to direct our customers to another web site to buy a gift certificate if they intend to use it at our spa?
I have difficulty in recommending any site other than my own. Am I missing something? Why give %%$$ to another website? I am confused why this is a good thing.

Hi Janet,
We're not suggesting that at all — you definitely want your clients going directly to your website to purchase Instant Gift Certificates.
Spa Emergency is an advertising channel for attracting additional clients — ones you aren't reaching today. It also has the advantage of being advertising that you only pay for when it works. I wish all advertising worked that way.
The point of our posting was just to show how much consumers love being able to buy gift certificates instantly for a specific spa.
