Using all your contacts for email marketing

Now that email marketing is here we're ready to start sending out emails to our clients. Right now, Email Marketing knows all about your clients that have purchased Instant Gift Certificates (or done Request Appointment), which is a very good start. But what about those contacts you already have, but SpaBoom doesn't know about? Wouldn't it be great to use those, too, in email marketing?
There is a solution!
In Email Marketing, there is a task for importing your existing contacts from programs such as Microsoft Outlook. As it all turns out, it is very easy to export (copy) your contacts from Outlook into a file on your hard drive. Using the import address task you can take that copy and quickly and easily enter them into your SpaBoom account. The entire process only takes a few moments and the end result will be a comprehensive client list. There is even duplicate checking to prevent your client list from being cluttered up.
This process is fully documented. Help has complete and detailed instructions. If you have your contacts in a program other than Outlook, the help topic will explain how to get those imported, too.

I have imported my csv file but can't find where I can view to make sure they are all there. And I also don't see how to add one person at a time, is this a possible option? I add new clients as they come in. I also remove clients when they request being removed from the list.

Debra: You can view your contacts that have been imported in the "Clients" tab, located at the top of the page. Contacts are imported as clients, and are now just like all your other clients. And this means that you edit them, remove them from your mailings (by removing the check in the box "send email marketing") or even delete them. If you want to add just one person, using the Clients tab is the fastest and easiest way to do this. I hope this helps! david

Thank you so much for adding the "Join Email Newsletter" to our website. We get so many great comments about our website and this makes it even better!
