Birthday bash for GCs

Right after the major gift giving holidays, birthdays are the #1 driver of sales of Instant Gift Certificates from SpaBoomers. So, we're going to highlight Instant GCs for birthdays in the next marketing campaign for your spa!
The Birthday Gift campaign starts on 4/1. Here's all you do to take full advantage:
- Go to Setup, Events and click on "Birthday Gift" and select a couple of services that make great birthday gifts. This is the most important step!
- If you'd like to change your email campaign, go to Setup, Email Marketing and click on "Searching for the perfect birthday gift?". Your services that you selected above will automatically be added to your email. Use "Send Test Email" to see exactly what it looks like.
- Go to Setup, Instant POP and print out a mini-poster to promote Instant GCs in your retail location.
If you want to customize your marketing for the next couple of months, you can — we've already set up Mother's Day, Graduation, and Father's Day items in Events, Email Marketing and Instant POP, so go to it!

Can I make a suggestion? We are already scheduling a lot of wedding parties this summer - why not a Bride-to-be email?

Can we adjust the Graduation email date? I would like to do mine the day after Mother's Day - many of our schools graduate that week.

Another comment on the Birthday Bash is I have been told that sending emails over the weekend tends to lose them in the Monday morning onslaught of email. Might want to reconsider date.

Lori, we can certainly set up a Bride-to-be email. The cool part is so can you–easily, and to meet your specific date preferences.
Pam, Simply go into Setup, Email Marketing, and adjust release dates to best fit your needs (including NOT landing on a Monday).

Hi Lori, Great idea! We're working on Weddings GCs right now, so that we can do exactly that. It's a great opportunity for Instant Gift Certificates, and we need to take full advantage of it.
Hi Pam, You can definitely change the date on email campaigns! Just go to Setup, Email Marketing, click on the email and change the "Send on" date.
For the birthday email campaign, we choose Sunday as a test (and, of course, you can change it). Readership rates are less for Sunday compared to weekdays, but email marketing research shows that response rates can be higher. In other words, less people read email on Sunday, but more of those that do respond. We want to see if that happens for Instant GCs!

Is there a way to tie in our database from Constant Contact to run the same SpaBoom promotions automatically?

I wish I had a great solution for tying Constant Contact in, but I don't. Unfortunately, I think you're better off using one or the other.

Is there a way to send out a marketing email automatically to clients a week before their birthday?
