We opened up shop right at the start of 2005 to tackle an interesting problem: why don't the websites for spas actually do anything? Sometimes they're beautiful, sometimes they look like they were designed in FrontPage in 1996. But I can't actually do anything. I want to schedule a massage, sitting at home at 9 o'clock at night, or buy a gift certificate for my wife the day before Valentine's.open.jpg

We solved the problem of my inability to plan ahead with our first service, Instant Gift Certificates. We went live with one spa for Mother's Day 2005, and we've just completed our first Holiday season with a little over 70 spas, salons and massage therapists.

We learn a ton from our clients, and we're going to share it right here, focused on a really useful topic: how do you turn your website into a profit center?
